Top Horror Games in Europe: Q4 2022 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top horror games on a unified platform in Europe showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the leading titles: Granny, Survivor In Rainbow Monster, The Baby In Yellow, Silent Castle, and Alphabet Shooter: Survival FPS.

Granny demonstrated a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from 148K in late September and peaking at 302K in the last week of December. Active users mirrored this growth, rising from 783K to 1.08M over the same period. Revenue, however, remained negligible throughout the quarter.

Survivor In Rainbow Monster saw a declining trend in downloads, from 564K in early October to 87K by the end of December. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 755K and 1.21M. Revenue was minimal, with a peak of $339 in mid-October.

The Baby In Yellow experienced a steady increase in revenue, reaching $454 by the end of December. Weekly downloads peaked at 290K in late November and then gradually declined to 212K. Active users showed a similar trend, peaking at 1.07M in late November before settling at 897K in December.

Silent Castle had a consistent decline in revenue, starting at $16K in late September and ending at $7.4K in December. Downloads decreased from 343K to 90K, while active users dropped from 702K to 633K by the end of the quarter.

Alphabet Shooter: Survival FPS showed a remarkable rise in downloads, from 1.2K in early December to 660K by the end of the month. Active users also surged, reaching 1.28M in the final week of December. Revenue remained low, peaking at $12.
